Color Theory uses SMPTE colors to question collective trauma broadcasted live during the most televised catastrophes in history, which took place in a Reality TV hooked nation.

SMPTE color bars are TV test patterns that give screen engineers an indication of how video signals may have been altered and what adjustments must be made to bring them back to specs.
