Commissioned by LVMH for Sephora
The Color of Self-Confidence began with a conversation with Florence Rambaud, then head of creative synergies at LVHM. She introduced me to Sephora’s marketing team, led by Elizabeth Angles d’Auriac, who gave me carte blanche to propose an audio-visual experience using the brand’s DNA as main characters.
As I immersed myself in Sephora’s codes, a display wall staging a line of brightly colored bubble bath products captured my imagination.
The film follows a group of bubble-bath girls mesmerized by black and white shadows cast by a flame behind them. Suddenly, one of the girls is compelled to turn around, discovering Sephora’s Flame and transforming into a multicolored Warholian silkscreen. Eagerly sharing her revelation with her neighbors, they join in a playful, self-confident dance.
With Sephora’s support, I produced the film in Miami, collaborating with local creatives, including a producer, green screen specialist, motion graphic artist, hair and make-up stylist, and a diverse cast of 8 models.
This endeavor remains a cherished milestone in my creative journey. However, it was followed by an urgent return to my native country to care for my loved ones. All along, I remained confident that once this rough chapter of my personal life found its balance, I would again immerse myself in the radiant light of my creative path.
